Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad has arrived in Pakistan on 3-day visit on Thursday.

Mahathir Muhammad will stay for 3 days from March 21 to March 23 on the invitation of Pakistani counterpart Imran Khan. He will be the guest of honor at the Pakistan Day parade.Malaysian PM arrived at Noor Khan Airbase along with important business personalities, where Pakistani PM Imran Khan warmly welcomed them. On this occasion, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Federal Minister Khushroo Bakhtiyar, and other higher delegation were there along with PM Imran.Mahathir will hold one-on-one meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan that will be followed by delegation level meeting. He will also call on President Arif Alvi.Trade Advisor Abdul Razak Dawood said “both sides will sign 4 agreements of 800 to 900 million dollars. These agreements will be signed between private investors. The government will just play a role of facilitator in this regard”.“The Malaysian delegation coming to Pakistan. The investment in the field of telecom, Halal Food, IT and auto-sector are expected”, said Razak Dawood in a joint media talk along with Chairman Investment Board.The Trade Advisor also said, “the investment will be business-to-business instead of government-to-government. The Pakistani investors do not give any importance to certification. We should need to make compulsory the certification of food standards for export”.Abdul Razak Dawood also said, “China helps us in power sector and infrastructure. Turkey, UAE, KSA and Qatar also helped us”.Chairman Investment Board Haroon Shareef said, “There will be a long-term business partnership with Malaysia”.
