President urge a dire need to monetarily empower women

It is a dire
need to monetarily empower the women to bring out them from mental and physical
torture, said the president Dr. Arif Alvi while addressing a ceremony on
international women day under the Federal Ombudsmen for Protection Harassment.
“This is an
alarming situation that our society has failed to enforce the Quranic Orders
and essential teachings of the constitution of Pakistan”, the President said.
He also pointed out that harassment of women in workplace is a serious crime and
the president praised the steps taken by federal ombudsmen Kashmala Tariq to root
out.
“The women are performing unmatched in every field and in recent years
forty percent CSP’s officer are women”, said the federal ombudsmen Kashmala
Tariq in her speech to ceremony. She also highlighted the slogan of “Khilwat
nahi Jalwat”.
Federal Minister for coastal affairs Ali Haider Zaidi, Federal Minister for
climate change Zartaj Gul Wazir, ambassadors of different countries,
parliamentarians and senior leadership participated in the ceremony. While the
Lok artists performed as well.
